Under the creative direction of Alex Da Corte, I patterned and constructed a historical reproduction of a ballet costume designed by de Chirico. Using the few pieces of photographic documentation and sketches available of this costume, I carefully recreated the suit that was originally made for a male ballerina. I transformed its silhouette into a flattering adaptation for a female performer.
